Cancer Costs Becoming Unsustainable

About 12 million people are diagnosed with cancer each year, and that number is expected to more than double over the next two decades. At the same time, cancer treatment costs are rapidly rising, meaning cancer care is quickly becoming unaffordable in many developed countries. According to a recent report published by a team of international experts, most treatments have a substantial cost but a limited benefit.
