Thanks to Lost In Town, I got to remember one of the most touching prayers from the time when I was attending the Sunday mass at the St. Joseph Cathedral in my hometown if Bucharest.

Requiem Mozart Rex tremendae direttore Danilo Santilli: At Lost in Town, I think he actually found himself in Rome, while discovering it: How beautiful to be in the right place at the right time…But then isn’t there always the right time to be in Rome? Thanks for posting, Lost In Town!

LOST IN TOWN

Another musical event not to be missed: The Academy of  Italian Opera!
Mozart, Puccini, Rossini, Verdi…
In the Church of All Saints’ is  in the center of Rome, in Via del Babuino, in between Piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna.

It is a gothic cathedral  which hosts this wonderful concert  run by the Filarmonica D’Opera di Roma, the Solisti dell’Opera and the Ensemble Concerto Barocco will perform in costumes of the nobility of the eighteenth century!

You may assist in the charming atmosphere created by light of the stained glass windows of the Church and surrounded by mosaics of inlaid semi-precious stones, as the lapis lazuli and basalt.
