The Beatles: Nowhere Man

The Beatles: Nowhere Man

He’s a real nowhere man,
Sitting in his Nowhere Land,
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody.

Doesn’t have a point of view,
Knows not where he’s going to,
Isn’t he a bit like you and me?

Nowhere Man please listen,
You don’t know what you’re missing,
Nowhere Man,the world is at your command!

He’s as blind as he can be,
Just sees what he wants to see,
Nowhere Man can you see me at all?

Nowhere Man, don’t worry,
Take your time, don’t hurry,
Leave it all till somebody else
lends you a hand!

Doesn’t have a point of view,
Knows not where he’s going to,
Isn’t he a bit like you and me?

Nowhere Man please listen,
you don’t know what you’re missing
Nowhere Man, the world is at your command!

He’s a real Nowhere Man,
Sitting in his Nowhere Land,
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody.
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody.
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody!

On one such trip, the hydrogen-filled airship violently and unexpectedly exploded in flames and crashed in New Jersey, killing 35 of the 97 people on board. What non-flammable gas was originally supposed to provide the airship’s lift? More… Discuss

Koala Population Threatened in Parts of Australia

Koala populations in Queensland and New South Wales have declined by as much as 40% in the past two decades, prompting Australia to declare the koala a threatened species in those areas. By classifying the gentle marsupials as vulnerable, the government affords them some measure of protection from threats like habitat loss and urban expansion. Vehicle strikes, dog attacks, and disease have also taken a toll on koala populations. Some conservationists argue that more needs to be done to protect the koalas and that all of Australia’s koalas should be classified as vulnerable. More… Discuss
