Beautiful sketch! I was just in Huntington Beach a couple of days ago on my way to The Getty Center. My first visit to California back in 1968 was to Huntington Beach, which was where my oldest uncle and his family lived. They have now retired to Texas, which doesn’t have a state income tax.

Thanks for sharing such treasured memories. Good to know about Texas laws: I’m sure I’ll get to read your impressions of The Getty. Huntington Beach is still so grand, isn’t it?
