If dreams were, lets say reality, than we would wake up to Paradise after each waking up….But do we? We created the illusion to be able to go through life, regardless of life throw at us, and expecting, really, only to be breathing the moment next, asking for more air. I like not only the frozen image of the face of a child, with the expression of an adult! I hope I’m right, I feel like she woke up to an less than appealing reality.

Faces Places Paces

It’s whatever makes you see
Makes you believe
And forget about the premonition you need to conceive
The images they sell are Illusion and Dream
In other words dishonesty

Illusion and Dream, Poets of the Fall

  1. I wish I knew the child’s story, but I don’t. I met her once for some 10-odd minutes when she accompanied her grandfather to my ancestral home in the village – where this picture was taken. She seemed utterly disinterested in anything going around her and seemed to resent any attempts to try and communicate with her.
    Thanks for the reblog. 🙂
