Mortal portal (poetic thought by GeorgeB)

Mortal portal

(poetic thought by GeorgeB)

Point of no return…

Turn on the spiral, downward,

Faster, faster, faster

The event horizon ahead,

for sole destination,

a circumference –

heavenly blessing –

nowhere in sight…

November fog (poetic thought by George B)

November fog

(poetic thought by George B)

Love is a smudge of a hand,

on the  foggy  window

smelling of fog, of a cold November night

making its way through the layers of coats

overcoats,  and to cling to skin and bones in a solid embrace – brrrrrrrrr  rhythmically –

for few long minutes, dripping on the rugs

with a washing like motions hands reach for heat

almost into the fireplace’s wood fire,

while the fog dissipates.

Dust in the wind Kansas

Dust in the wind

I close my eyes
Only for a moment, then the moments gone
All my dreams
Pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind
All they are is dust in the wind Same old song
Just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do
Crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see
Dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind, ohh Now, don’t hang on
Nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away
And all your money won’t another minute buy
Dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind Dust in the wind
Everything is dust in the wind
Everything is dust in the wind
The wind

Kansas – Hold On

Look in the mirror and tell me
Just what you see
What have the years of your life
Taught you to be
Innocence dyin’ in so many ways
Things that you dream of are lost
Lost in the haze

Hold on, Baby Hold on
‘Cause it’s closer than you think
And you’re standing on the brink
Hold on, Baby Hold on
‘Cause there’s something on the way
Your tomorrow’s not the same as today

Don’t you recall what you felt
When you weren’t alone
Someone who stood by your side
A face you have known
Where do you run when it’s too much to bear
Who do you turn to in need
When nobody’s there

Hold on, Baby Hold on
‘Cause it’s closer than you think
And you’re standing on the brink
Hold on, Baby Hold on
‘Cause there’s something on the way
Your tomorrow’s not the same as today

Outside your door He is waiting
Waiting for you
Sooner or later you know
He’s got to get through
No hesitation and no holding back
Let it all go and you’ll know
You’re on the right track

Hold on, Baby Hold on
‘Cause it’s closer than you think
And you’re standing on the brink
Hold on, Baby Hold on
‘Cause there’s something on the way
Your tomorrow’s not the same as today

Supernatural – Kansas – Don’t You Cry No More

Carry on my wayward son,
There’ll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don’t you cry no more

Once I rose above the noise and confusion
Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion
I was soaring ever higher, but I flew too high
Though my eyes could see I still was a blind man
Though my mind could think I still was a mad man
I hear the voices when I’m dreamin’, I can hear them say:

Carry on my wayward son,
There’ll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don’t you cry no more

Masquerading as a man with a reason
My charade is the event of the season
And if I claim to be a wise man, it surely means that I don’t know
On a stormy sea of moving emotion
Tossed about I’m like a ship on the ocean
I set a course for winds of fortune, but I hear the voices say:

Carry on my wayward son,
There’ll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don’t you cry no more NO!

Carry on, you will always remember
Carry on, nothing equals the splendor
Now your life’s no longer empty
Surely heaven waits for you

Carry on my wayward son,
There’ll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don’t you cry
Don’t you cry no more

Mondial – Atat de frageda So fresh thou art

Women in universal painting….
Lyrics Mihai Eminescu
So fresh thou art

Thou scarcely touchest the soft carpet,
The silk on thee doth rustling stream,
From top to toe so light and lofty,
Thou floatest like an airy dream.

From draping folds like purest marble
Thine image unto me appears,
My whole soul on thine eyes is hanging,
Those eyes so full of joy and tears.

O happy dream of love, so happy,
Thou bride of fairy tales, so mild,
No, do not smile! Thy smille doth show me
How sweet thou art, thou gentle child.

My poor eyes thou canst close for ever
With deepest night’s eternal charms,
With thy sweet lips’ sweet fondling, whispers,
Embracing me with thy cool arms.

A veiling thought at once now passes
Thy glowing eyes thus covering:
It is the dark renunciation,
The sweetest yearning’s shadowing.

Thou go’st away and, well I know it,
To follow thee must I no more,
Thou art for me now lost for ever,
My soul’s dear bride, whom I adore.

My only guilt was that I saw thee,
Which I to pardon have no might,
Mine arm I’ll stretch for ever vainly
To expiate my dream of light.

Like holy Virgin’s purest image
In my fond eyes thou will rise now,
The brightest crown on forehead bearing,
Where dost thou go? When comest thou?

A Soros-Made “New World Order” Takes Shape at the UN

gold the color of mustard!

The GOLDEN RULE

From ‘nsnbc’, by Wayne Madsen (Strategic Culture Foundation).

There is so much supporting evidence on the Internet, that I find it amazing that so few people are aware of current world trends in the setting up of a World Government (NWO).

Many that are aware, have difficulty in comprehending such undemocratic processes being introduced and gaining acceptance by countries’ leaders. I too cannot believe such a state being ‘born’ and put into action, from a human moral and ethics point of view. In the same way that I couldn’t conceive a militant attack on a private home and innocent people being murdered. The sort of thing that should only happen in movies! But no!, it’s a real life scenario.

If one reads the internet news, we learn that such things are really happening. Not any doubt about the authenticity of the reports. To reach a belief about the…

Today’s Birthday: SAINT KATHARINE DREXEL (1858)

Saint Katharine Drexel (1858)

The niece of a wealthy Philadelphia banker, Drexel inherited a vast fortune and used it to address racial injustice and educational inequality in the US. She established mission schools across the American West and founded Xavier University, the only historically black, Catholic university in the US. In 1891, after becoming a Roman Catholic nun, she founded a society of nuns to aid Native Americans and African Americans. This day in the Yesteryear: PONTCYSYLLTE AQUEDUCT OPENS IN WALES (1805)

Pontcysyllte Aqueduct Opens in Wales (1805)

It took 10 years to build the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, which towers over the River Dee valley in Wrexham, Wales. A feat of civil engineering, it is still in use more than two centuries later, allowing boats to cross the Llangollen Canal about 120 feet (35 m) above the valley. The aqueduct consists of a narrow cast iron trough supported by stone columns and bordered by a railed path that was built so horses could tow canal boats. The span occasionally closes for maintenance. How is it emptied? More… Discuss

YIKES! TOILET SEATS CLEANER THAN CUTTING BOARDS

Yikes! Toilet Seats Cleaner than Cutting Boards

It seems disturbingly counterintuitive, but it turns out thattoilet seats are actually cleaner than many kitchen items, including cutting boardssponges, and dishcloths. The average toilet seat is contaminated with 50 bacteria per square inch. By contrast, the average cutting board is contaminated with about 200 times more fecal bacteria, and the average dishcloth contains 20,000 times the bacteria. Even worse, sponges are a whopping 200,000 times more bacteria laden. If the findings are any indication, people could learn something from the relative cleanliness of their bathrooms and need to take greater pains to keep kitchen surfaces clean. More… Discuss

SATI

Sati

Sati is an Indian funerary practice in which a widow immolates herself on her husband’s funeral pyre. Though its stated purpose is to purge the sins of the couple and ensure their reunion in the afterlife, the practice has been encouraged by the low status of widowhood. Practiced since the 4th century BCE, sati became widespread in India in the 17th and 18th centuries, and not all instances were voluntary. Today, it occurs rarely, and mostly in remote areas. When was the practice outlawed? More…Discuss
