This was right after they installed sewage line along the street, which before was a small creek aalled “Iazul Morii” or Pe la Palane (by the fences) because it was lined with the surrounding property fences. There was a water mill upstream, where the community got their grains milled, and a bread oven where we would go from time to time with our dough ready to be baked in the oven. That was the finest homemade bread I’ve ever helped make or tasted – I promise you!

History: I took this picture with 18X24 (1/2 size 35 mm camera), all manual and developed it myself. The print is now 41 years old, but in best quality (4 X 5 in.). I scanned it with a HP 6300 series “all in one”, printer-copier-scanner, with 600 resolution, and retouched it with FastStone Editor.
Atoms For Peace is an experimental rock & electronic supergroup formed in late 2009 in Los Angeles, California. The group consists of Radiohead lead singer Thom Yorke (vocals, guitar and piano), Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea (bass), longtime Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich (guitar, keyboards, synths), Joey Waronker of Beck & R.E.M.
