Imagine God, as Monsanto: Would you praise god then? Nobody should play God!

The Daily Deconstructor

Universally loathed and hated Monsanto is being sued for bio-piracy by India, Brazil, Peru and Hungary.  In legal gymnastics eerily reminiscent of the copyright troll extortion tactics, Monsanto claims 2 % royalty on the retail value of the crops grown from its GMO seed.

Now 5 million Brazilian farmers have had enough and are now suing Monsanto for $7.7 billion.

Monsanto is your classic evil corporate pirate.  It has successfully corrupted the political and legal system to poison us with their filthy GMO foods.

These kind of corporations have to be banned, and sued into bankruptcy.

Rilo Kiley – With Arms Outstretched (Live Bonnaroo 2008)

It’s sixteen miles
To the promised land
And I promise you, I’m doing the best I can

Now don’t fool yourself
Into thinking you’re more than a man
Because you’ll probably end up dead

I visit these
Mountains with frequency
And I stand here with my arms up

Now some days they last longer than others
But this day by the lake went too fast
And if you want me
You better speak up, I won’t wait
So you better move fast

Don’t fool yourself
Into thinking you’re more than you are
With your arms outstretched to me

Now it’s sixteen miles
To the promised land
And I promise you, I’m doing the best I can

Now some days they last longer than others
But this day by the lake went too fast
And if you want me
You better speak up, I won’t wait
So you better move fast

And some days they last longer than others
But this day by the lake went too fast
And if you want me
You better speak up, I won’t wait
So you better move fast

Regina Spektor- Ne Me Quitte Pas Lyrics Down in Bowery
They lose their ballads and their lipped-mouths in the night
And stumbling through the street, they say
“Sir, do you got a light?
And if you do then you’re my friend
And if you don’t then you’re my foe
And if you are a deity of any sort then please don’t go”Ne me quitte pas, mon cher
Ne me quitte pas, ah ah ah
Ne me quitte pas, mon cher
Ne me quitte pasDown in Lexington they walk in new shoes stuck to aging feet
And close their eyes and open
And not recognize the aging street
And think about the things were right
When they were young and veins were tight
And if you are the ghost of Christmas past
Then won’t you stay the night?Ne me quitte pas, mon cher
Ne me quitte pas, ah ah ah
Ne me quitte pas, mon cher
Ne me quitte pas, ooh ooh ooh
Ne me quitte pas, mon cher
Ne me quitte pas, ah ah ah
Ne me quitte pas, mon cher
Ne me quitte pasDown in Bronxy Bronx
The kids go sledding down snow covered slopes
And frozen noses, frozen toes
The frozen city starts to glow
And yes, they know that it will pass
And yes they know New York will thaw
But if you’re a friend of any sort
Then play along and catch a coldNe me quitte pas, mon cher
Ne me quitte pas, ah ah ah
Ne me quitte pas, mon cher
Ne me quitte pas, ooh ooh ooh
Ne me quitte pas, mon cher
Ne me quitte pas, ah ah ah
Ne me quitte pas, mon cher
Ne me quitte pasI love Paris in the rain,
I love Paris in the rain
I love, I love, I love in the rain
I love Paris in the rain,
I love Paris in the rain
And I Love I love I love in the rain
I love, I love, I love in the rainDown in Paris they walk fast
That is unless they’re walking slow
And in cafes they look away
That is unless they look right in
And in the gardens I get lost
That is unless I’m getting found
And if you are the ghost of New York City
Then won’t you stick around?Ne me quitte pas, mon cher
Ne me quitte pas, ah ah ah
Ne me quitte pas, mon cher
Ne me quitte pas, ooh ooh ooh
Ne me quitte pas, mon cher
Ne me quitte pas, ah ah ah
Ne me quitte pas, mon cher
Ne me quitte pasI love Paris in the rain,
I love Paris in the rain
I love, I love, I love in the rain
I love Paris in the rain,
I love Paris in the rain
I love, I love, I love in the rain
And I love, I love, I love in the rain…And I love, I love, I love, in the rain
I love, I love
In the rain, in the rain
Oh I love in the rain
In the rain, in the rainNe me quitte pas

Australia places Syria group on terrorist list

Finally somebody things straight!

Craig Hill Training Services

Al-Nusra FrontThe Al-Nusrah Front was little known before the Syria uprising but has since become a major part of the insurgency.

The Australian government has placed a prominent Sunni Islamist group fighting the regime of Bashar al-Assad in Syria on its terrorist blacklist.

Foreign Minister Bob Carr has announced Australia will list the Al-Nusrah Front as a terrorist organisation to try to starve the group of funding and support.

Unknown before the uprising, the Al-Nusrah Front since mid-2012 has become the spearhead of the insurgency ahead of the mainstream rebel Free Syrian Army.

The Islamist jihadist faction has since captured key army bases and is believed to have set up a religious council to administer affairs in rebel-controlled areas in eastern Syria.

Senator Carr said with 5000 fighters in Syria, the Al-Nusrah Front had a history of suicide attacks and bombings.

“I’m advised Al-Nusrah is active against the Syrian military…

JPMorgan Chase bank fraud documented

Oh My, Another round of slaps over the air!

Dear Kitty. Some blog

This video is called US senators grill JPMorgan over hidden losses.

By Barry Grey in the USA:

Senate report documents fraud and lawbreaking by JPMorgan Chase

16 March 2013

The Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations released a 300-page report Thursday documenting systematic fraud and deception by JPMorgan Chase, the biggest US bank, in connection with over $6.2 billion in losses from high-risk speculative trades in financial derivatives in 2012.

The losses, incurred by the bank’s London-based Chief Investment Office (CIO) and a trader dubbed the “London whale” because of the size of his bets, were concealed from investors, analysts, regulators and the public by the bank’s top management, including its chairman and CEO, Jamie Dimon.

The report details from emails, phone conversations and interviews with bank officials the use of accounting gimmicks to vastly understate the scale of the losses in the first quarter of 2012, the withholding…

“The Iraq War, Ten Years Later”: The Next Time Our Government Wants To Rush Us Into A War, Dissenters Need To Be Listened To

Hear, Hear!

Green Living London

There was widespread anger as the European proposal to protect bees from toxic pesticides failed to get a majority.

Campaigners across the continent hoped the European Commission’s proposed two-year suspension of neonicotinoids would be passed, but major nations, including UK and Germany, failed to back the plan in a vote on Friday.

The result leaves environmental campaigners, scientists and some politicians bitterly disappointed. “Britain and Germany have caved in to the industry lobby and refused to ban bee-killing pesticides” said Iain Keith, of the campaign group Avaaz. “Today’s vote flies in the face of science and public opinion and maintains the disastrous chemical armageddon on bees, which are critical for the future of our food.

“But the European Commission will appeal the decision and can still get it adopted! This week we got Spain on our side, let’s keep up the pressure on Germany, the UK and other countries who abstained…

Gottlieb Daimler (1834)

The mechanical experiments of German engineer, inventor, and pioneer automobile manufacturer Gottlieb Daimler aroused so much suspicion that, at one point, the police raided his workshop in Stuttgart, Germany, expecting to find a counterfeiting operation. They found only engines, as Daimler had been working on improvements to the internal combustion engine that would play a major role in the development of the automobile industry. ‘ Ils ne passeront pas/On ne passe pas’ – Robert Neville

“They Shall Not Pass!”

The phrase “they shall not pass” has been used in several languages to express fortitude in defending a position against the enemy. Its most famous use was by French General Robert Nivelle in World War I during the Battle of Verdun. The Spanish “no pasarán” became an international communist slogan after it was used in 1936 by an antifascist leader in Spain defending against nationalist forces laying siege to Madrid. How did the nationalist leader allegedly respond upon taking the city? More… Discuss

There’s a nail in the door
And there’s glass on the lawn
Tacks on the floor
And the TV is on
And I always sleep with my guns when you’re gone
There’s a blade by the bed
And a phone in my hand
A dog on the floor
And some cash on the nightstand
When I’m all alone the dreaming stops
And I just can’t stand
What should I do I’m just a little baby
What if the lights go out
And maybe and then the wind just starts to moan
Outside the door he followed me home
So goodnight moonI want the sun
If it’s not here soon
I might be done
No it won’t be too soon ’til I say goodnight moon
There’s a shark in the pool
And a witch in the tree
A crazy old neighbor and he’s been watching me
And there’s footsteps loud and strong coming down the hall
Something’s under the bed
Now it’s out in the hedge
There’s a big black crow sitting on my window ledge
And I hear something scratching through the wall
What should I do I’m just a little baby
What if the lights go out
And maybe I just hate to be all alone outside the door he followed me home
So goodnight moon
I want the sun
If it’s not here soon
I might be done
No it won’t be too soon ’til I say goodnight moon

Guitar solo

Well you are up so high
How can you save me?
When the dark comes here tonight
To take me up to my front walk and into the bed
Where it kisses my face
And eats my head

What should I do I’m just a little baby
What if the lights go out
And maybe and then the wind just starts to moan
Outside the door he followed me home
So goodnight moon
I want the sun
If it’s not here soon
I might be done
No it won’t be too soon ’til I say goodnight moon
