    • Can you believe that?

      • No, I really don’t want to. I won’t send my kids to boarding school much less marry them off before they’re 25 at least. I know you have to allow for different cultures, and I respect that, but 5? 11? My 11 year old is forming, with protection and guidance. He’s not ready for marriage. UGH!!

      • You heard her opinion on the fate to be, and the way she thinks is, NOT, because she would be in any way mature, but because she doesn’t want to give up her human right to be a child!

      • Good point! I was thinking as a mom. What was her mom thinking?

      • Criminal — like the girl said defending herself. Smacks of trafficking, and worst of all, in your children.

      • I’m just glad, I got to see this video, to better understand and hope the little girl is safe, and the culprits punished (If the law of that land consider selling an 11 years child a crime)

      • You had another very busy day today, music and politics. Congrats on your likes stat award yesterday — wow! Was it 674??? Can’t imagine dealing with that much traffic. I’m treading water here as it is. Well done, friend.

      • It’s not as hard, but I just can’t take awards, they really leave juiced out, they take the joy of blogging away, and they become more like work.
        Thanks for the good word.!

      • My philosophy on awards: keep acceptances brief, details entertaining and share the love. I totally get why you might not want them. I will decline to pass them your way. 🙂

      • I hope you had a nice walk today. In some ways, that’s the most sustaining and enriching part of my day. That’s where most of my pictures and ideas come from. 🙂

      • Today, was a short one, recovering from two days in the row. So I only did 20 stories 18×20=360 steps = the landings… 🙂 I hope to do another nice hill trail tomorrow; It’s nice out there, but dusty. there is portion, 200 yards quite steep, at the top a all gratified water tower…”I made it!” somebody wrote in white chalk, I thought to myself he must have been really out of shape. Just bragging!

      • Wow! Good for you. My husband also like to climb, hills, mountains, stairs. It’s not a hike without altitude for him. 🙂
