Quotation: Henry David Thoreau about Unjust laws

Unjust laws exist: shall we be content to obey them, or shall we endeavor to amend them, and obey them until we have succeeded, or shall we transgress them at once?

    • Very good point…I was about to make it myself, and then….erased it: Laws are state, class laws, and classes are more polarized (at least in this country) than ever before. Most laws are unjust, to some blanket or class, and they keep being “good Citizens” on a daily bases…And yet we still have the most advanced and encompassing the largest citizenry, with all the inability to be able to chose representatives worthy of the vote of confidence given!
So yes, it depends of the laws! and on the adherence to be upheld and the truthfulness of preserving (not amending the Constitution to the point beyond recognition, just because we think that going to law school in about how to circumvent the law (The Constitution) to fit our interest!

      Thanks for the commment Gabriela!
