Mon bel amour mon cher amour ma déchirure
I love French music, so stirring even though I only catch one word in ten. Sigh of pleasure.

Thank you Brenda:
French was my second language, after Romanian, and have always loved its richness. I love English too, a lot, and learn every day a new depth, a new height in expressing our human feelings…Leonard Cohen helped a lot with his astounding verse, and philosophy…
Life is good, when you can understand people around you, and can address them with the competence of the thought!
thanks again for your comment, its made for a great feedback and open thew door to a nice conversation 🙂

I was listening and thinking it was like poetry where you cross out the words on a page of a book and what is left is the poem. I heard: amour, matin, bon soir, amour, etc. It was delightful when I relaxed and enjoyed it. 🙂

I’m so glad you’re enjoying this! I’ll get the poem, translate it and then you’ll see! It won’t be the same, as in French, but close enough!

So, you can read Louis Aragon’s poem “there is no happy love”…Imagine the best verse in English, and then you have the verse in French! It’s a beautiful poem, and a beautiful song! Enjoy!
