Washington (CNN) — They’re just back from the Ebola hot zone, they can’t have any physical contact with family or loved ones and their plastic forks are being burned after each use.

But American troops quarantined in Italy have good morale and are proud of their work against the “silent enemy” of Ebola, according to Major General Darryl Williams, who is being isolated alongside his men at the Army base in Vicenza.

    • I think so too: this is not a war, and those people already had movement in place…I look at it as training (and it looks like they started from scratch even though the expectation was that they would be fully prepared)… It’s more like a learning thing, a drill, don’t you think? Even there they seemed to be confused about the way you treat a potential victim: way far off the reservation…like you see them in some movies, from all places!
