Remains of Last Cruise Ship Victim Likely Found

Salvage workers have recovered human remains believed to be those of the last remaining missing victim of the 2012 Costa Concordia disaster. Thirty-two people died when the cruise ship hit a reef and capsized off the Italian island of Giglio. All of the dead had been recovered in the nearly three years since, save for Russel Rebello, an Indian waiter working on the ship. DNA testing will be used to confirm that the remains are indeed those of Rebello, but those involved with the case, including the victim’s family, are confident that he has finally been found.
