  1. I always felt he was referring to the aspects lf life outside of the school system. Things like relating to people, kissing a girl, learning what whiskey you like to drink, deciding on what music you like. The stuff of the soul, but in all fairness im a dreamer so could be way of the mark

    • It is about th efact that edicating, and self tetaching are an addition and based on the skills learned in the educational system… And it works: you can extend, expend, and do things and inspiration, at a loss without the foundation.

    • As any other quotations this one is linked to the context in which it was created: I, for one did only gain from the schooling I attended and cherish, truly, every of my teaches, as they gave me the solid foundation, to which I always related for more learning. in my time it was called general education, and was up to that denomination, with he full cooperation of student, parent and public school. I’m sorry if the system has become a political marionette, failing everyone and society, culture and civilization, all alike!
Ask that you are educated, and be the fully participating in that process: learn, as you do so for you, and nobody else!
