Horoscope ♉:
05/18/2019

Whether or not you should make a specific expenditure could cause some tension between you and a partner, Taurus. You may think that it isn’t feasible now, while your friend is determined to go for it. This isn’t the day to try to reach an agreement in this matter. Neither of you is likely to give in. Wait a couple days until you’re both a bit less tense.: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tfd.mobile.TfdSearch

Today’s Holiday:
Pied Piper Open Air Theater

This dramatization of the Pied Piper of Hamelin is presented on an open-air stage in Hamelin (or Hameln), Germany. According to the legend, in 1284 Hamelin was infested with rats. A stranger promised to free the town of vermin if they would pay him. The town agreed, and the piper led the rats to the Weser River where they were drowned. When the citizens refused to pay the piper, he led 130 children out of the town and they disappeared forever. Today, the children of Hamelin are the principal performers in the play, and their number is limited to 130 in keeping with the legend. In 1962, US President John F. Kennedy’s birthday was celebrated with a lavish party at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Watch “Sittin’ on the dock of the bay + lyrics” on YouTube

Sittin’ in the mornin’ sun
I’ll be sittin’ when the evenin’ comes
Watchin’ the ships roll in
Then I watch ’em roll away again

I’m sittin’ on the dock of the bay
Watchin’ the tide, roll away
I’m sittin’ on the dock of the bay
Wastin’ time
I left my home in Georgia
And I headed for the Frisco Bay
‘Cause I’ve got nothin’ to live for
Looks like nothin’s gonna come my way, so
I’m just come sittin’ on the dock of the bay
Watchin’ the tide roll away
I’m sittin’ on the dock of the bay, wastin’ time
Looks like nothin’s gonna change
Everything seems to stay the same
I can’t do what ten people tell me to do
So I guess I’ll remain the same
I’m sittin’ here restin’ my bones
And this loneliness won’t leave me alone
This two thousand miles I roamed
Just to make this dock my home
Now I’m just sittin’ on the dock of the bay
Watchin’ the tide roll away
Sittin’ on the dock of the bay
I’m wastin’ time
