Breakfast Important for Heart Health

Many of us are guilty of skipping breakfast, but that does not mean it is good for us. In fact, the opposite may very well be true. Skipping breakfast could place added strain on the body, putting those who do it at greater risk of cardiovascular problems. A recent study of older men found that those who routinely skipped breakfast were 27 percent more likely to suffer from heart problems than those who were in the habit of eating in the morning.
