Sting – Love is The Seventh Wave (Video from Living Sea,Music by Sting.)
[youtube.com/watch?v=HH6ZRJlTsDY]
Video from Living Sea,Music by Sting.
“Love Is The Seventh Wave” Sting
In the empire of the senses
You’re the queen of all you survey
All the cities all the nations
Everything that falls your way
There is a deeper wave than this
That you don’t understand
There is a deeper wave than this
Tugging at your hand
You’re the queen of all you survey
All the cities all the nations
Everything that falls your way
There is a deeper wave than this
That you don’t understand
There is a deeper wave than this
Tugging at your hand
Every ripple on the ocean
Every leaf on every tree
Every sand dune in the desert
Every power we never see
There is a deeper wave than this
Swelling in the world
There is a deeper wave than this
Listen to me girl
Feel it rising in the cities
Feel it sweeping over land
Over borders, over frontiers
Nothing will its power withstand
There is no deeper wave than this
Rising in the world
There is no deeper wave than this
Listen to me girl
All the bloodshed, all the anger
All the weapons, all the greed
All the armies, all the missiles
All the symbols of our fear
There is a deeper wave than this
Rising in the world
There is a deeper wave than this
Listen to me girl
At the still point of destruction
At the centre of the fury
All the angels, all the devils
All around us can’t you see
There is a deeper wave than this
Rising in the land
There is a deeper wave than this
Nothing will withstand
I say love is the seventh wave

The Internal-Combustion Engine
The Internal-Combustion Engine
The world we live in would be nothing like it is today were it not for the internal-combustion engine. In 1885, Gottlieb Daimler built an internal-combustion engine that is widely viewed as the prototype of the modern gas engine, and Karl Benz built the first practical automobile powered by an internal-combustion engine, ushering in a new era in transportation. Today, internal-combustion engines are used to power everything from cars and trucks to locomotives, ships, and jets. How do they work? More… Discuss

Maybe, Maybe, poetic thought by George-B
Maybe, Maybe, poetic thought by George-B
I waited for the right wave, too long,
unlike Papillon I discovered
no particular sequence.
Wave washed on the sand at my feet,
waves crushed against the shore,
always remodeling…
I waited for the right wind, the one that would propel me
away from the shore, for too long…
many a wind came, whistling their way through space
brushing and polishing the face of stone, the Sphinx:
He seems to have been witness to all, since it was carved
by demigods or perhaps antediluvian human-like creature,
my ancestors…
Maybe, one day the perfect wind will bring the perfect wave
Maybe, maybe…
NEWS: ENERGY DRINKS AND TEENS
Energy Drinks and Teens
If your teen frequently consumes energy drinks, this could be a red flag that he or she engages in other risky behaviors. A Canadian study found that high school students who reported a higher frequency of energy drink use were more likely to also feel depressed, engage in risk-taking behaviors, drink alcohol, and use drugs. Energy drinks’ marketing campaigns may be somewhat to blame for the association, as they are designed make the products seem extreme and exciting. This likely increases their appeal to young people, especially those already prone to sensation seeking. More… Discuss

NEWS: HALVE YOUR SUGAR INTAKE IF THE WHO KNOWS WHAT’S GOOD FOR YOU
Halve Your Sugar Intake if the WHO Knows What’s Good for You
The World Health Organization (WHO) is recommending that people aim to get no more than five percent of their daily caloric intake from sugar, half the long-standing recommendation of 10 percent. For an adult with a normal body mass index, or BMI, this new recommendation translates to about six teaspoons’ worth of sugar a day. Excess sugar consumption can lead to weight gain and associated health risks, such as heart disease, diabetes, and even certain cancers, as well as dental damage. More… Discuss

THIS DAY IN THE YESTERYEAR: SOVIET SATELLITE BREAKS UP UPON REENTRY, SCATTERING NUCLEAR DEBRIS (1978)
Soviet Satellite Breaks Up upon Reentry, Scattering Nuclear Debris (1978)
Cosmos 954 was a Soviet reconnaissance satellite that used radar to observe ocean traffic. It was launched in September 1977 and quickly began to experience problems. Within months, it had deviated from its designed orbit. A malfunction prevented the safe separation of its onboard nuclear reactor, so when the satellite reentered the Earth’s atmosphere, it scattered radioactive debris over northern Canada, necessitating an extensive clean-up operation. How much did Canada bill the USSR for this? More… Discuss

Beautiful Music: Silence — Sarah McLachlan
Silence………..
Give me release
witness me
I am outside
give me peace
Heaven holds a sense of wonder
and I wanted to believe
that I’d get caught up
when the rage in me subsides
In this white wave
I am sinking
in this silence
In this white wave
in this silence
I believe
I can’t help this longing
comfort me
I can’t hold it all in
if you won’t let me
Heaven holds a sense of wonder
and I wanted to believe
that I’d get caught up
when the rage in me subsides
In this white wave
I am sinking
in this silence
In this white wave
in this silence
I believe
I have seen you
in this white wave you are silent
you are breathing in this white wave

Explosion and Fire Destroy Piper Alpha Drilling Platform (1988)
Piper Alpha was a North Sea oil production platform operated by Occidental Petroleum that sank into the sea after a series of explosions and a massive fire, killing 167 men. Only 59 of the workers survived. The initial blast is believed to have resulted from the activation of a pump that was missing a safety valve. A poorly planned evacuation process exacerbated the disaster. Why did nearby platforms continue to pump gas and oil to Piper Alpha after it was engulfed in flames? More… Discuss
MEPs to debate nuclear stress tests: doing only the passing tests = no failure= Way to go!
According to the article there is another Nostradamus, somewhere in Europe: He knows for certain that due to Europe’s geography a nuclear accident such as the one in Japan is not possible. If you’re interested to find out his name read the article. Anyway, some thinks that just the illusion of tests, partial test and virtual tests are enough to protect the population of the continent.
The Light House That We Are…
We all hold a beacon deep inside of our core: it radiates with invisible light, with energy, like a light house on a rocky sea-shore. I t does that all the time: when we don’t feel whole, when sadd with undue hardship and burdens, the light is not so bright, and joyful, and that shows in our eyes first, and in our faces, and in the way we walk, and then in the way we talk. It make us look older than we are, it make us breath more superficially: Each living cell in our bodies knows, that something is wrong in the kingdom, the there is a war going on, so they take cover, they stock reserves to survive the assault (who knows how long it will take, who knows if we will win).
So the best we can do, is to show the world outside, the kingdom (or republic) is ready, is joyous, and has the power of overcoming on its side).
So smile when you cry inside, and smile when you don’t know why, and show the world the one that God intended for us to be.
George. 🙂
