Founding of the Illuminati (1776)

The Illuminati were members of a rationalistic society founded in Germany by Adam Weishaupt. Having close affinities with the Freemasons and seemingly organized on a Masonic plan, the group was briefly very popular among German rationalists but had limited influence. The Roman Catholic Church, which Weishaupt left in his youth and rejoined before his death, condemned the Illuminati. In 1785, the Bavarian government dissolved the organization. Clay Animation

Clay animation is a form of stop-motion animation in which each frame of a film is created and photographed independently using clay figures molded into different positions for each frame. Clay animated films were made in the US as early as 1908 and became something of a fad in 1916, but they were soon overtaken by cartoons. Clay animation is a laborious process, requiring about 21,600 stops for a 30-minute film. How many frames per second are needed to create the illusion of continuous motion? The health benefits of sweet potatoesinclude their ability to help in healthy weight gain, boost immunity, regulate digestion, treat asthma and bronchitis, and control diabetes. Sweet potatoes also help in treating stomach ulcers and relieving arthritis pain.

What are Sweet Potatoes?

Sweet potatoes are tuberous crops with the scientific name Ipomoea batatas. [1] The plant is a creeper with heart-shaped or lobed leaves. The color of the tuber varies from purple to red to pale yellow and to white, depending upon the variety, the soil type, the climate it grows in, and the available minerals. As the name implies, sweet potatoes are naturally sweet and its flavor can be enhanced when cooked.

The red variety has a drier and harder flesh while the white and yellow sweet potatoes have juicier flesh. The red variety has a characteristic aroma which becomes more prominent when boiled. The variety of taste, textures, and colors can be attributed to its antioxidants and vitamins content. The reddish and orange the colored sweet potatoes are rich in beta carotene, while the purple sweet potatoes are rich in anthocyanin.

Sweet Potatoes Nutrition

According to the USDA, sweet potatoes are a rich source of energy, carbohydrates, and fiber. [2] They also contain a wide array of minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, and magnesium.

They are also packed with other nutrients that include vitamins as well as provide phytosterols, isoflavones, and amino acids such as leucine, glutamic acid, and threonine. A single serving of sweet potato alone will provide more than 400% of your daily dose of vitamin A!

Health Benefits of Sweet Potatoes

Sweet potatoes have many health benefits. Let’s explore them in detail below.

Improve Digestion

The fiber content in sweet potatoes are higher than that of common potatoes and they taste better too! When these two factors are combined with other minerals like magnesium, which is present in these root vegetables, it makes an excellent facilitator for digestion. They are easy to digest since they mainly contain starch. They are soothing to the stomach and intestines, so you can avoid any difficulties in digesting them. Furthermore, fiber feeds the little microbes in our gut and thus help support and promote a healthy gut.

Promote Weight Gain

Sweet potatoes contain good amounts of complex starch, along with healthy vitamins, minerals, and proteins. Moreover, they are very easy to digest. Thus, they provide a lot of energy and are excellent bulk builders for people looking to gain weight.

People who have recently suffered from illnesses, or are self-conscious about being frail or abnormally thin should welcome this news about sweet potatoes since there are no associated side effects, which most of the synthetic bulk building dietary supplements have.

Treat Inflammation

Sweet potatoes have anti-inflammatoryproperties and are primarily due to the presence of beta-carotene, anthocyanins, vitamin C, and magnesium. Beta-carotenes and anthocyanins are active bio-compounds that may exert antioxidative effects when consumed and thereby reduce oxidative stress and inflammation. Research and studieshave shown these compounds to possess potential suppressive anticancer activities and to promote immunity. [3] [4]

Boost Immune System

Sweet potatoes are excellent immune system boosters that defend your body from a wide variety of conditions. [5]As mentioned above, not only are they rich in antioxidant and vitamins, they are also rich in manganese, magnesium, and phosphorus. All these nutrients help in strengthening the immunity and keeping you healthy.

Asthma Friendly Food

A study released by the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition suggests that there is a positive association between antioxidant-rich diets and clinical asthma outcomes. Sweet potatoes are also one of the foods that are least probably to elicit an allergyreaction, a common inducer of asthma.

Treat Bronchitis

Sweet potatoes are believed to be capable of warming up the body, possibly due to the sweetness and other nutrients that impact body temperature. [6] This property is also beneficial for people suffering from bronchitis, along with its powerful effect on congestion. The concentration of vitamin C, iron, and other nutrients helps cure bronchitis.

Reduce Arthritis Pain

Beta-carotene, magnesium, zinc, and vitamin B complex make sweet potatoes a highly important food source for managing arthritis. [7] The water in these tuberous vegetables are boiled can also be applied externally on joints to ease the associated pain of arthritis.

Anti-cancer Properties

Research conducted on laboratory mice by Khalid Asadi et al. [8] from the Auckland Cancer Society Research Centre, New Zealand suggested purple sweet potato anthocyanin-rich diets helped reduce and inhibit tumor growth (Biomed Research International 2015). Chemoprevention trials are needed on humans to understand the anti-cancer properties of sweet potato. [8] Additionally, a study conducted by researchers from Kansas State University, US suggested that anthocyanin-enriched sweet potato may protect against colorectalcancer due to its antiproliferative abilities. [9]

Treat Stomach Ulcers

Research shows that a high fiber diet and a diet rich in vitamin C reduces the risk of developing stomach ulcers. These are good news because sweet potatoes are rich in fiber and vitamin C. They also contain B-complex vitamins, potassium, and calcium are all very effective in curing stomach ulcers. [10] Moreover, the roughage obtained from fiber prevents constipation and the resultant acid formation, thereby reducing the chance of ulcers. [11] Their anti-inflammatory and soothing properties also reduce the pain and inflammation of the ulcers.

Control Diabetes

Contrary to popular belief, sweet potatoes may be an acceptable food for diabetics. Although it is high carbohydrate and sugar, it is considered a low-glycemic food and have a lower glycemic index than regular white potatoes. [1] Cooking methods also alter the glycemic index of sweet potatoes. For example, boiled sweet potatoes have a lower glycemic index compared to roasted sweet potatoes. Of course, that does not mean that diabetics should eat them indiscriminately. The idea is that they can replace rice or white potatoes with sweet potatoes in their diet and cooking them by boiling rather than roasting.

Prevent Dehydration

The fiber or roughage present in sweet potatoes helps the body retain water. [11] This maintains water balance in the body, keeping you hydrated and your cells functioning efficiently.

Other Benefits

Sweet potatoes are effective for helping people quit addictions like smoking, drinking, and taking certain narcotics. They are good for the health of arteries and veins, as they protect their walls against hardening. The high concentration of beta-carotene (an alternative form of vitamin A) and phosphorus are excellent for both ocular and cardiac health. [12]

So, go out and grab a sweet potato for your next meal; they are delicious and nutritious. Yum! Yum! Yam!

Yea, all should go Vegan actually. Our bodies indicate we are herbivores with our long and alkaline intestines. Carnivores and omnivores have short intestines and acidic stomachs. Also the cholesterol and fat in meat and dairy feed heart disease, cancer and diebetes(type 2 especially).

Homo Sapiens ( people) also have acidic stomachs. The optimal Ph for the enzyme pepsin required for the digestion of proteins is about 3.5. The Ph of the intestines is most likely due to the optimal Ph of the enzymes used to breakdown and absorb nutrients in that area of the gut. So overall I don’t think your argument that this proves we are meant to be herbivores holds water. Also to be able to digest cellulose we would need a ruminant stomach.

In fact, although they are both root vegetables, they belong to two different plant families–the sweet potato is from the morning glory family while the yam is related to the lily. Yams are sweeter than the sweet potato, grow much larger and are also nutritionally inferior.

Watch “The best way to save muscle during weight loss is to have enough protein, exercise strength…” on YouTube

How fast can you lose weight and how much? What is the average weight loss drops rate? What to expect from a diet? These questions are of interest to those who lose weight in the first place. But people’s notion of the speed with which fat burns is not exactly realistic – especially against the background of diets in the style of “-10 per week.” We promise that this is real if you have a little time and starve. And we do not agree with anything that is lower than this figure.

This article is for those who are upset by losing “whole” by 500 grams per week; for those who believe that he is doing something wrong, and his metabolism is too low to lose weight quickly.

Weight loss drops

Weight loss drops – learn how
Before talking about the speed of weight loss drops, it is essential to learn how to distinguish between weight loss and fat loss.

Body weight is not only fat, even the thickest person with clinical obesity. These are organs, bones, muscles, water, glycogen and even the contents of the intestine. Weight loss does not specify what exactly goes.

Maybe the muscles. There may be glycogen and water that it holds. Maybe swelling. Anyone who has met with food poisoning knows how quickly to lose weight by 3-5 kg. But the weight returns, as soon as a person returns to normal life. Thus, all of the above falls under the “loss of excess weight.” But when people think about weight loss drops, they want to get rid of fat. When it comes to the figure, the primary goal is to lose as much fat as possible and keep as many muscles as possible. The rest of the ballast – water, glycogen, and food inside the digestive tract – are things that come and go.

So, by the end of the cycle, a woman suffers from swelling, adding up to 3 kilograms. The amount of glycogen and water it retains depends on the number of carbohydrates in the food. Especially noticeable are weight changes, when a person changes from a non-carbohydrate diet to a normal diet. Or vice versa – removes carbohydrates and the first week of enjoying a large “plumb.”

How do you know if muscle or fat goes away?
Weighing is only one way to control weight loss drops, and it does not show the whole picture. The ratio of fat and muscle in the body is called the body composition. It is this that determines how we look.

A lot of fat and a little muscle is an ordinary fat man. A little fat and a little muscle is a figure of skinny-fat. A lot of fat and a lot of muscles is a massive stocky figure. A little fat and a lot of muscles are what everyone dreams of, a beautiful sports body. Therefore, it is important to monitor not only the arrow on the scales but also the ratio of fat and muscle. This will make it clear what you are losing.

You can find out the composition of the body in many ways – paid and free, accurate and approximate. Among them – biomepedansometry, measurement of skin folds by a caliper.

The best way to save muscle during weight loss is to have enough protein, exercise strength and maintain (or even increase) the working weight. If the working weights gradually decrease, it can be a signal that the muscles become smaller. That’s why it’s important to keep a training diary – it allows you to see progress, increase in weights or drop from a week to a week.

What is the rate of fat loss – normal?
The norm is a loss of 0.5-1.0% of body weight per week. This is a good indicator, which ensures that fat goes away (1). If your weight is 70 kg, then you should expect a loss of 350-700 grams per week. More slender people lose less – on the lower border and even less. People with sizeable excess weight, obesity lose more – up to 2 kg. It looks just pathetic in comparison with the “-10 per week” diet, but this is a reality.

Even if we sit on a hungry carbohydrate diet – cucumber, kefir, celery – fat will still go about the same amount. All other “plumbs” – water, glycogen, edema and intestinal contents. As soon as the body gets rid of “non-fat” ballast, weight loss slows down to the same 0.5-1 kg per week.

Quick kid quick, so harsh and cynical
    Touches stricken, cold and clinical
    What a transformation to behold
But I don’t like this new, I want the old

It’s not the words that make it final
You’ve said such things such things before to rival them
But it’s how you say ’em now that’s changed
Cold but sympathetic all the same

Lie to convince me that I’ll be better off
Oh, you go on and I’ll be happier, I’ll be happier

‘Cause you’ll be happier without me, without me, without me, oh

You won’t convince me, that I’ll be better off
So you go on and I’ll be happier, I’ll be happier
    You go on, you go
You’ll be gone, and I’ll be gone
You go on and I’ll be happier, you go on and I’ll be happier

Spare me your judgments and spare me your dreams
‘Cause recently mine have been tearing my seams
I sit alone in this winter clarity which clouds my mind
Alone in the wind and the rain you left me
It’s getting dark darling, too dark to see
And I’m on my knees, and your faith in shreds, it seems

Corrupted by the simple sniff of riches blown
I know you have felt much more love than you’ve shown
And I’m on my knees and the water creeps to my chest

But plant your hope with good seeds
Don’t cover yourself with thistle and weeds
Rain down, rain down on me
Look over your hills and be still
The sky above us shoots to kill
Rain down, rain down on me

    Oh I will hold on
    I will hold on hope
    Oh I will hold on
    I will hold on hope

I begged you to hear me, there’s more than flesh and bones
Let the dead bury their dead, they will come out in droves

Did I make it that easy to walk right in and out
Of my life?
Goodbye, my almost lover
Goodbye, my hopeless dream
I’m trying not to think about you
Can’t you just let me be?
So long, my luckless romance
My back is turned on you
Should’ve known you’d bring me heartache
Almost lovers always do

The storm is coming but I don’t mind.
People are dying, I close my blinds.
All that I know is I’m breathing now.

I want to change the world, instead I sleep.
I want to believe in more than you and me.
But all that I know is I’m breathing.
All I can do is keep breathing.
All we can do is keep breathing
Now,
Now
Now
Now
All that I know is I’m breathing.
All I can do is keep breathing
All we can do is keep breathing
All we can do is keep breathing
All we can do is keep breathing
All we can do is keep breathing

Run along, run a long way to find a one
Find a one who could turn you on
Underneath a cloudless sun

I certainly hope that you are happy
With your new change of company
Surrounded by your enemies
Can’t you see if I could be anything I want to be I would be you, see,
Can’t you see if I could be anything
And if you say everything will want to go your way
I will turn you away as easily as I turned you into me
Run along, run a long way to find a one
Find a one who could turn you on
Underneath a cloudless sun
I certainly hope that you are happy
With your new change of company
Surrounded by your enemies
If you say everything will want to go your way
I will turn you away as easily as I turned you into me
And can’t you see if I could be anything I want to be I would be you, see,
Can’t you see if I could be anything
Oh, oh, there’s a lot of things I could say to make you understand
I don’t have time to explain
Can’t you see if I could be anything I want to be I would be you, see,
Can’t you see if I could be anything
And if you say everything will want to go your way

I want to disappear
Far from the folks I know
I want to get an answer
To why I was even born

No one here can tell me
What’s been haunting me all my life
Well, this rat race has left me limping
‘Cause I balanced on the edge of the knife
Why am I here?
Oh, what should I do?
Well, is this the point I’m trying to prove?
If there’s a God in my head
Then there’s a devil too
How can I tell the difference
When they both claim to be true?
Maybe God is God
Maybe the Devil is me
Well, I just throw my chains on
And tell myself that I’m free
Chains, are they really there?
Is this just in my head?
Well, I’ll just stay in bed
Life sure has its meaning
Over years I have postured the sun
Thieves and preachers robbed me
For many hat that I’ve hung
Now with my heart wide open
I listen to the wind just for a word
Sure, I know it’s futile
But that’s all I have in this world
To look down from the hill and howl at the moon
All the tears I cried never salted any wounds
Well, the earth is so tender and cruel
Well, if you’re not there it’s still so beautiful

Walpurgis Night

People who lived in the Harz Mountains of Germany believed for many centuries that witches rode across the sky on the eve of St. Walpurga’s Day to hold a coven on Brocken Mountain. To frighten them off, they rang church bells, banged pots and pans, and lit torches topped with hemlock, rosemary, and juniper. The legend of Walpurgis Night is still celebrated in Germany, Austria, and Scandinavia with bonfires and other festivities designed to welcome spring by warding off demons, disaster, and darkness. Bleuler was a Swiss psychiatrist who in 1908 introduced the term “schizophrenia” for the disorder formerly known as dementia praecox. While studying schizophrenic patients, Bleuler concluded that the disease was not one of dementia, a condition involving organic deterioration of the brain, but one consisting of a state of mind in which contradictory tendencies exist together. He argued, against accepted wisdom, that such patients were not incurable. What is the etymology of “schizophrenia”? More…: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tfd.mobile.TfdSearch

As vrea intr-o seara sa ne intalnim
Lunea n-are nici un rost
Stam chiar pana in zori de zi

Ca duminica putem dormi

Vrei sa ne intalnim sambata seara
Intr-o carciumioara la sosea
Unde canta-un pian si o vioara
Si unde nu ne vede nimenea
Perechi, perechi de amorezati stau la masa
Si nu vad nimic in jurul lor
Gurite iau drept consumatii
Ce le pasa
Daca isi fac juraminte de amor
Vrei sa ne intalnim sambata seara, iara
Intr-o carciumioara la sosea (x2)
