MASTERPIECES MISSING AFTER MUSEUM THEFT

The art world is reeling after bold thieves in the Netherlands broke into Rotterdam‘s Kunsthal museum yesterday and made off with several works worth tens of millions of dollars. In total, seven paintings were stolen, among them works by Picasso, Matisse,Monet, Gauguin, and other prominent artists. Investigators are trying to figure out how the thieves managed to pull off the heist given that the museum supposedly has a state-of-the-art alarm system. More… Discuss
