Sadhu

In Hinduism, a sadhu is a wandering holy man dedicated to achieving the fourth and final Hindu goal of life, moksha—liberation from the cycle of death and reincarnation—through meditation and the contemplation of Brahman, the ultimate reality of the universe. They are typically mystics, ascetics, yogis, or itinerant monks who have renounced life in society to focus instead on spirituality.
