When I talk of eyes, the stars come out! Whose eyes are they? If they are angels’ eyes, why do they look down here and see good men hurt, and only wink and sparkle all the night?

A nationally recognized US physicist, accomplished saxophonist, and black belt in karate, McNair was selected to join NASA’s astronaut training program in 1978. Six years later, aboard the space shuttleChallenger, he became the second African American in space. His next trip into orbit was to take place on the same shuttle on January 28, 1986, and McNair brought his sax along for the ride, intending to be the first to record an original piece of music in space. Why did this never happen? More… Discuss
Movie theater concessions may be pricey, but buying them could save you money in the long run. Researchers say eating popcorn or other snacks reduces the effectiveness of cinema advertising. They hypothesize that the process of chewing interferes with “subvocal pronunciation,” an automatic moving of the lips and mouth to silently pronounce the name of what is being advertised, that seems to help imprint the advertiser’s message in our minds. He put his verbal virtuosity on display in works like “The Drunken Boat,” A Season in Hell, and Illuminations. Who shot and wounded Rimbaud during one of their many lovers’ quarrels? More…Discuss

Parents who access their babies’ health records online are more likely to take their children to all of their recommended well visits and may also be more likely to keep youngsters up to date on their vaccinations. This does not mean that viewing these health records compels parents to take their children for regular checkups.
